Photoshop has no grid tool, you can quickly create a grid vector shape design using a combination of rectangle shapes and using combine shapes and unite and subtract and then define the design as a custom shape. In Photoshop CC 2021 2020 2019 etc

Type can be warped in all kinds of ways, in this video tutorial I show you how to warp it when it is combined with a layer and that layer is then turned into a smart object and warped via the Photoshop 2020 edit menu and transform and warp and the design is folded and distorted in all kinds of ways. The artwork is then selected and edit menu and define pattern or it is saved as a pattern preset via the pattern panel. You can then use it via the edit menu and fill command with the random fill script to create all kinds of amazing patterns / textures for use in fills and brush textures etc

The new warp updates make it super easy in Photoshop 2020 to create all kinds of amazing new pattern tiles which can then be used in tools such as the fill command (random fill script) to create 1000s of unique and abstract pattern tiles. You can use any design as a smart object and then apply the warp transform to that and then use the split warp to distort the design in countless ways and use that tile as a source for a pattern definition in Photoshop. The video uses features only in Photoshop 2020 and upwards (though you can create similar in earlier versions such as 2019 etc as well)

Convert a smart object to layers in Photoshop CC 2020 (and probably CC 2021 2022 etc) via the layer menu and via the properties panel. This is a new feature to convert a smart object into layers (which in turn could be smart objects and they can also then be broken down) to create a layer structure of all the component parts of a smart object. Sadly, you can select multiple smart objects and one click, convert all the entire smart objects into a single set of component layers (such as shapes, text etc) - would be handy for some situations, I guess. Anyway, you could always access the components but this was spread over multiple PSB files. You can then re-build the smart objects from those paths etc

How to use the new pattern presets in Photoshop CC 2020 + (probably going to be much the same as Photoshop CC 2021 and CC 2022). How to drag patterns to the document, how to group them, how to create new presets, how to import PAT files, how to export the selected presets, how to combine them and much more. The patterns panel has been massively updated to give a lot more flexibility in using the presets

With Photoshop CC 2020, the shapes panel has been updated to include many new features. The shapes can now be dragged to the document via the new shapes panel. You can re-order the shapes, you can add them into groups, you can move the groups etc. You can also quickly import custom shapes files (CSH) into Photoshop CC 2020 as well as export the selected custom shapes to a new file. You can also add new shapes quickly to the shapes panel for use in new projects

 A guide to all the new features in Photoshop CC 2020 related to the gradients, how to use them, how to group, how to remove items, how to use them as gradient layers, how to explore all the settings and much more. The features are similar to the brushes panel. The gradients can now be imported and exported very quickly into the panel.

You can manipulate the generated cell designs in all kinds of ways such as adding additional effects such as stamp or using the result as a source for awesome 3D models.

The video shows additional ways of manipulating the designs such as using find edges and threshold adjustment as well as coloring the design. You can then use the artwork via the CC library, use it as a background, use it as a texture, use it as an overlay, use it with type, use it with 3D effects and more

How to create amazing sphere designs in Photoshop https://youtu.be/3wX6bwYzexs Spheres, balls, globes etc can all be created in Photoshop CC 2019 2018 2017 etc by using a circular selection. You can create the circular selection by holding down the shift key when using the elliptical marquee tool. You can then fill the design with a gradient via the gradient tool. The gradient needs to be set to normal blending mode and radial type. Apply the gradient from a start position slightly to the top right and drag to the edge of the selection or beyond. That is the basic Photoshop sphere. You can then edit menu and copy the sphere design and paste (you can also drag the design into the CC library to store it for future use). You can also convert this into a smart object via the layer menu and smart objects and convert.
